Wildlife Friendly Otley.

We are a small charity run by local volunteers working to make Otley the first 'wildlife friendly town' in the UK.

Our purpose is to protect and help our local wildlife by encouraging and educating people and organisations to be more wildlife friendly.

Wildlife

Otley is well situated as an excellent location for wildlife - a small town built around the River Wharfe, nestled in the shadow of the beautiful Chevin Forest Park and benefitting from two designated nature reserves.

We have lots of ideas here to help you to see, enjoy, learn more about and help our wildlife which has suffered dramatic decline in the last 40 years.
